Food security is very crucial fro every family and household both in rural and urban locations. But Women are the custodians in all the activities that provide food in a home. In Northern Uganda, Women work tirelessly to ensure that there is food both in the garden and the granary for feeding, seed security and daily income. This is the reason why Women need to own land since they are actually the Mothers of the Nation right from homesteads.
