Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development together with LANDnet Uganda, held the first ever National Land Conference dubbed as the Land Forum, to celebrate achievements of the Land Sector and to draw lessons for improvement. The Forum was held under the theme; “The Land Act @20: Making Land work for Uganda” in November 2018.
The Land Forum intended also bridge gaps between the Public and the Land Sector Actors. Over 50 panel discussions were held engaging the public and with 25 topics under the land sector discussed. These included the land governance, land disputes and land information systems.
