The land inquiry Commission was tasked to investigate challenges affecting land rights, policies and processes of Land Acquisition, Land Management, and Land Registration in Uganda; It will also look into the effectiveness of the Law in Land matters. Since its launched, several government officials and individuals have been implicated and some arrested.
