A Lawyer with 23 years experience in legal and social research in gender, environment and land. Has broad experience in policy development, legislative drafting, developing institutional frameworks, and training and sensitization on land, gender and natural resources.
Esther is the founding director of LANDnet Uganda, currently working as a Land Governance Expert on Improving Land Governance in IGAD Region. Prior to this, she coordinated the Global Land Indicators’ Initiative at GLTN/UN-Habitat from 2014 to 2015. She coordinated Coordinator for the Land Governance Assessment Framework (LGAF) for Uganda in 2012/13 and as the Executive Director Uganda Land Alliance from 2007 to 2013.
